Chat Rules

justchathere is a public place. Act like you're in a room full of real people — because you are. By chatting here you agree to the following:

  1. No hate or harassment. Slurs, hate speech, and targeted harassment of any person or group are not allowed.
  2. No sexual or explicit content. Keep it clean — this includes explicit language, sexual content, and anything involving minors, which will be reported.
  3. No threats or violence. Threats of violence against people or property are not tolerated.
  4. Nothing illegal. Don't use the chat to plan, facilitate, or discuss illegal activity.
  5. No spam or flooding. Don't flood the room, paste junk repeatedly, or advertise.
  6. Protect privacy — yours and others'. Don't share anyone's real name, address, phone number, or other personal information ("doxxing"). Think twice before sharing your own.
  7. No impersonation. Don't pretend to be another chatter, a moderator, or staff.

Enforcement

An automated filter blocks the most common profanity and slurs, including common evasions. Moderators may mute or ban nicknames that break these rules, and severe violations (threats, illegal content, anything involving minors) may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Breaking the rules can get your nickname banned without warning. The moderators' word is final.
